Yes, for certain digital locks and situations
Being locked out does not automatically mean your digital lock needs to be drilled or replaced. At Infinite Locksmith & Digital Locks, we assess whether a suitable non-destructive opening method is possible before recommending the work required. The options depend on the exact model, its installation and the reason it will not open.
Dedicated tools for professional access work
We use dedicated professional tools, often custom manufactured for specific access work, to help us get the job done. Where the lock model and condition allow, these tools help us restore access without damaging the lock or door. The right tool and approach are selected after assessment.
Why the cause of the lockout matters
A lock that is working normally but cannot be accessed is different from one with a damaged internal mechanism or a bolt jammed in the frame. Battery or access issues may have different solutions from mechanical faults. We assess each case individually and explain the likely approach and charges before proceeding.
Damage-free opening cannot be guaranteed for every lock
Some models and fault conditions allow access without damaging the lock or door. Others may require controlled removal or drilling of part of the lock, and replacement parts or a new lock may be necessary. Avoid forcing the handle or repeatedly operating a jammed mechanism, as this can make the problem worse.
For an example of a mechanical jam requiring work on the faulty lock, read our Bishan digital lock case study, where access was restored without drilling into the door itself.
Send photos for an assessment
WhatsApp clear photos of the lock and the full door or gate, together with the model if known, your location and a short description of what happened. Let us know whether the lock responds, shows a low-battery warning or makes unusual sounds. Photos help with the initial assessment, although the final method may need to be confirmed on site.
